Evil Eye Beads have been made in Anatolia for thousands of years in various traditional forms from blue , yellow and white coloured glass . They are believed to protect people , animals , and property from the evil eye .

When we buy a car we hang an evil eye bead somewhere in our car , so that we do not make accidents ! Yes we may still make some accidents , but , imagine if we did not have an evil eye bead hanging in our car , what many more accidents we could make !

When a child is born we hang an evil eye bead on his or her shoulder so that he or she does not become ill !

When we buy a new property , for example a house , we hang an evil eye bead at the entrance of the house so that the evil eye bead protects our house from fire , thief , and any hazard !

If you are a very good looking boy or a beautiful girl , you need one evil eye bead , and a big one ! Because everybody is pointing to you , saying “What a good looking , handsome boy!” or “What a beautiful girl !” Saying so , the evil eye touches you and you become ill or something bad may happen to you !

That is why the insurance is not very popular in Turkey !
